As per the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Shri Dinesh Bhatia has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, with residence in Buenos Aires. He succeeds Shri Sanjiv Ranjan.He presently served as the ambassador of India to Argentina.He is a 1992-batch IFS(Indian Foreign Service) officer.He also served as the Consul General, Consulate General of India, Toronto.
