Senior IPS officer Aditya Mishra has recently been appointed as the chairman of Land and Ports Authority of India. He is a 1989 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. LPAI develops facilities for travelers and government officials at check posts located on the international borders of India. It has been established under the Land and Ports Authority of India Act, 2010.
