A तथा B किसी कार्य को क्रमशः 8 घण्टे तथा 10 घण्टे में समाप्त कर सकते हैं। यदि वे एक के बाद एक करके एक-एक घण्टा कार्य करें तथा A पहले 10 बजे प्रातः कार्य आरम्भ करें, तो उसी दिन कार्य सायं कितने बजे समाप्त होगा –
